Green Building/LEED Certification/Enterprise Green Communities
Bright Power has experience in LEED® green building certification and Enterprise Green Communities Certification. Green building, or "sustainable building," is environmentally-friendly building construction and operation. Green buildings cost less to operate and provide healthier, more productive environments in which people can live and work.
The LEED green building certification program is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of green buildings. Our consultants are LEED Accredited Professionals.
Enterprise Green Communities is the first national green building program developed for affordable housing and is required for HPD and HCR projects. The program was developed by Enterprise Community Partners to provide a clear, cost-effective framework for all kinds of affordable housing: new construction and rehabilitation in multifamily as well as single family buildings. The Green Communities criteria are aligned with the LEED Green Building Rating System.
Bright Power has written several Enterprise Green Communities Criteria plans and can help you participate in this program. For more information on one of our Green Communities projects, visit Dumont Green.
