Bright Power has extensive experience providing energy efficiency services to multifamily housing, for public, private, non-profit and utility clients. Services include benchmarking, energy audits and modeling, energy management, renewable energy feasibility studies and system design, construction specification and financial incentive program administration.

 

Our staff has experience with low-income and affordable housing, senior residences, existing buildings and new construction. Certifications include: BPI Multifamily Building Analyst, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and LEED AP.

Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) is a network of nine social enterprise non-profit owners of affordable housing located in 50 states with 90,000 units. Since 2006, Bright Power has provided a variety of energy efficiency and renewable energy services to support the preservation of these existing affordable housing properties.

Via Verde/The Green Way

 

VIA VERDE/THE GREEN WAY: SOLAR DESIGN, LEED

 

Bright Power, under contract to the Association for Energy Affordability, provides energy efficiency, solar design and LEED consulting for Via Verde, a cutting-edge, green, affordable, multifamily project in the Bronx. The 300,000 square foot urban infill project includes a 65 kW building-integrated photovoltaic system, onsite cogeneration, green roof, green interior finishes, and rainwater harvesting.

Rialto Management Corp. in Manhattan manages a portfolio of over 30 multifamily properties for several property owners.  Bright Power has worked with Rialto since 2008 to address rising heating costs and tenant heating complaints. Our services include: benchmarking of energy and water usage, identification of cost-effective savings measures, heating system adjustments and specifications, construction management and "Green Energy Fairs" for tenants.
