With a lighting improvement project underway at Merrick Apartments, Fairfield Residential was no stranger to energy-efficiency improvement projects. However, having experts on the incentive landscape did help Fairfield understand local programs and their minimum project savings requirements. Being an incentive expert, Bright Power shared information about an incentive program that would maximize their energy and water savings and allow them to implement energy projects that typically wouldn’t meet investment criteria.

As a result, Bright Power integrated other energy upgrades to increase the quality and durability of their energy systems, reduce their utility expenses, increase their net operating income, and protect their investments with post-upgrade verification.

Bright Power worked with Fairfield Residential’s other service providers to include their existing scopes into a larger set of upgrades that would meet the incentive program’s savings requirements. Bright Power’s project management and turnkey design-build approach expedited project implementation, allowing Fairfield Residential to see their incentive funds and energy savings sooner. The project management was so successful, that Fairfield Residential now has a dedicated Bright Power project manager that has become an extension of their capital improvements team.
