Meet Enrique Montoya, Senior Data Analyst.
What are some of the things you like most about working at Bright Power?
I love working with people from different backgrounds who all share a common passion and goal—a love of nature and the environment and mitigating our impact on the environment, respectively.
Bright Power also has facilitated my professional development and growth. The Technology team is incredible, supporting me and pushing me to grow in new directions. In addition, leadership is always coming up with and evaluating new ways for professional development.
What’s something people might not know about you or your role?
I am really into making coffee. Nothing beats the smell or the first sip of a good espresso. I make my own syrups and recipes, and I dream of opening a small café in the future! Currently, I am working on my latte art skills and growing my coffee mug collection.
Tell us about a project or accomplishment for which you’re proud.
Taking a page from our Find, Fix, Follow approach, I found an area for improvement in our data flows process, fixed the issue, and continued to follow the fix. By identifying and leading the creation of this new process, I allowed for better automation of our data flows and reduced manual data entry, along with the associated costs. After finding and fixing the issue, I created a process to follow the improvements and documented the process for easy reference. Now, the team can easily track those issues to ensure this new process is working
