BLOG

We’re excited to introduce the latest updates to EnergyScoreCards. With new features like Carbon Totals on the Portfolio Dashboard and a Whole Building Option on Portfolio Exports & Reports, these updates make it easier than ever to understand and evaluate your portfolio’s energy performance. Read on to see what’s new.

Q1 2025 Release:

Emissions Reporting with 2023 eGrid Data

Carbon emission metrics found on property and portfolio reports in EnergyScoreCards have been updated to reflect the latest 2023 eGrid dataset made available by the EPA. Further information about the latest dataset can be found on the EPA’s website.

Whole Building Option on Portfolio Exports & Reports

Bright Power is pleased to release a new feature that allows you to analyze utility performance across your entire portfolio using Whole Building Scorecards.

Now, you can easily access and compare Whole Building Scorecard results at the portfolio level in all standard and custom reports.

Plus, for your convenience, you can export these results in your preferred format for deeper analysis.

Q4 2024 Release:

Carbon Totals on Portfolio Dashboard

Carbon results by fuel and in total are now available on the EnergyScoreCards portfolio dashboard page. The Most Recent Year scorecard is used to generate carbon metrics showing performance over a rolling 12-month basis across all selected properties in your portfolio.

Whole Building Scorecards

Bright Power is pleased to release an update to the way in which whole building energy and water metrics are generated in EnergyScoreCards. Earlier this year we launched an automated method of collecting whole building energy and water data from ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager for utilities that offer data exchange capabilities. This automated data collection method will now be used as a key feature in the ability to generate whole building scorecards in order to more quickly provide you with key performance details on all property and portfolio reports.
