Active Design – Take the Stairs: Following the release of New York City’s highly acclaimed Active Design Guidelines, several recent projects have applied active design principles through use of a LEED Innovation Credit. Join us for a brief overview of the Active Design Guidelines, as well as a series of presentations on projects that have incorporated the LEED ID credit and are recognized by the USGBC for promoting health and physical activity.
Highlighted projects will include: Riverside Health Center, Manhattan. Via Verde / The Green Way, Bronx, New York City Police Academy, Queens
