Walkthrough Audits (ASHRAE Level I)

A fast, cost-effective starting point. This high-level audit includes a site survey, energy savings and cost estimates, and a summary memo – giving you a clear picture of your biggest opportunities without a long turnaround time.

Ideal if you’re new to energy efficiency or want a quick analysis on where your building stands.

Comprehensive Audits (ASHRAE Level II)

More than a snapshot. These audits follow the ASHRAE.211.2018 standard and provide a comprehensive overview of the property’s energy usage, equipment, operation and available improvement opportunities.

The report includes a detailed overview of existing conditions, end-use analysis, and a thorough assessment of all applicable energy efficiency opportunities at the property. It also provides a pathway to achieve property’s carbon reduction goals and potential compliance for Local Laws in New York. This level of audit is eligible for LL87 compliance and various incentive programs.

Deep Energy Retrofit Audits (ASHRAE Level III)

Our most comprehensive studies go beyond the ASHRAE Level III guidance and provide an in-depth analysis of energy efficiency measures including deep energy retrofit opportunities and feasibility studies for electrification.

In addition to the standard ASHRAE Level II assessment, this analysis includes electrical infrastructure assessment, equipment selection guidance, utility rate projects and electrification readiness planning for properties considering electrification for major central systems.

Targeted Audits

Our targeted audits focus on improving specific systems, equipment or end use and list recommended improvements. These studies are often helpful in identifying reason for inefficient operation of systems, evaluating unusual energy usage or retro-commissioning major equipment.

Facing Local Law 97 penalties? A Bright Power energy audit gives you a building-specific roadmap. From low-cost operational improvements to partial electrification, you can identify the right steps toward decarbonization without guesswork.
