Local Law 84 (LL84) states that by May 1, 2011, all New York City buildings over 50,000 square feet must submit their first annual energy benchmark to the Department of Finance.  Covered buildings also include two or more buildings that total over 100,000 square feet and are on the same lot or under the same condo board.

NYCBenchmark can help you comply with this law.  We have benchmarked over 1000 buildings, and have developed a software tool called EnergyScoreCards™ to automate the process and make it as easy as possible for you to benchmark your buildings.  Energy Benchmarking uses a basic building profile and a year’s worth of utility bills to provide a snapshot of a building’s energy and water consumption.
