Jeffrey Perlman is the Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Bright Power. Since founding the company in 2004, Jeff has been a visionary leader in the energy efficiency and renewable energy space, dedicated to the idea that making buildings more sustainable is both an environmental necessity and a sound business strategy.

Under Jeff’s leadership, Bright Power has grown from a start-up into a premier energy management partner for the real estate industry, pioneered the “Find, Fix, Follow” methodology, and developed the EnergyScoreCards platform. He has been instrumental in shaping energy policy in New York City and beyond, often serving as an advisor to government agencies and industry groups on building decarbonization.

In his role as Chief Strategy Officer, Jeff focuses on the long-term vision of the company, identifying emerging technologies and market trends—such as battery storage, electrification, and carbon legislation—to ensure Bright Power’s clients are positioned for a zero-carbon future. Jeff is a graduate of Yale University and is widely recognized for his ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for building owners and developers.
